Privacy notice

Last updated: 24 August 2026 · Pre-launch website

Important: this is a working pre-launch notice for the current static website. It should be reviewed and approved by the person responsible for Objentra's legal/privacy compliance before production use, especially once forms, analytics, CRM or other processors are connected.

1. Who we are

Objentra is the platform/master brand behind products and services being developed for asset-based businesses. This website is operated as a pre-launch marketing and information site.

For privacy questions, contact hello@objentra.com.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may receive information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, organisation, business type, enquiry type and the contents of your message.

At present, the site's enquiry forms are designed to prepare an email in your own email client rather than silently sending information to a server-side database.

3. Why we use it

  • to respond to enquiries and requests for information;
  • to understand interest in Objentra and its future products;
  • to communicate about early access where you have asked us to do so;
  • to protect and maintain the website; and
  • to meet applicable legal or regulatory obligations.

4. Legal basis

Where UK GDPR applies, the appropriate lawful basis depends on the interaction. This may include consent where you actively opt in, legitimate interests for reasonable business enquiries and website security, or legal obligation where required. We will not rely on a lawful basis that is inappropriate for the actual processing.

5. Marketing

We will only use contact details for marketing in accordance with applicable electronic marketing and data-protection rules. If you ask to receive updates, we will provide a way to stop those communications.

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. If the website later uses hosting, CRM, email, analytics, form, security or other service providers that process personal data for us, those providers will be selected and documented as appropriate.

7. Retention

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including any period needed to resolve an enquiry, maintain records or meet legal obligations. Retention periods will be documented more precisely when operational systems are introduced.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability where applicable. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact us at hello@objentra.com.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

See our cookie notice. The current site is designed to avoid non-essential tracking by default. This will be updated if analytics, advertising or other optional technologies are introduced.

10. International transfers

If future providers process information outside the UK, we will use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and provide the information required by applicable law.

11. Complaints

If you have concerns about how we handle your information, please contact us first so we can investigate. You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

12. Changes

We may update this notice as the website and business develop. The date at the top will identify the current version.
